An AC Nitrogen Wash (also known as Nitrogen Flushing) is a high-pressure cleaning and drying process used to clear the internal pipelines (line sets), condenser, and evaporator coils of an air conditioner. It utilizes pressurized dry nitrogen gas along with a special flushing solvent (e.g., R141B) to purge burnt oil, carbon deposits, sludge, and moisture from the system—especially after a compressor burnout or during a system upgrade.

What's Included

What's Excluded
Standard Jet Wash: This is not a regular outer body cleaning or a water jet/foam servicing; it is strictly an internal mechanism and piping flush.
Component Repairing: Nitrogen washing only clears blockages and cleans the system. It cannot automatically repair, patch, or seal damaged coils or leaking pipes.
Compressor Flushing: The compressor and expansion valve must be bypassed or disconnected during the flush, as high-pressure nitrogen can damage their delicate internal valves.
Gas Recharging: The nitrogen wash completely empties the system. The service fee does not include refilling the actual refrigerant (freon gas), which must be billed and charged separately.
Filter Drier Replacement: The filter drier or desiccant should usually be replaced during this process, which is treated as a separate spare part cost.
